This money can be put towards one or a combination of training solutions e.g.
- Training programmes and Workshops
- Bespoke/tailored training programmes
- Peer learning
- Business mentoring/coaching

As part of the application process, a qualified and experienced Leadership & Management Adviser will provide you with a complimentary, tailored Personal Development Plan – to ensure you have the best solution for your needs.

All training must have started and the grant claimed within 90 days of the grant being approved. All grants are exclusive of VAT.
Previous beneficiaries of Business Leader funding are not eligible to apply.

The way it works is that you can have up to £500 as a straight-forward grant. And then you can have a further grant of up to £500 which is available on a match funded basis, i.e. you put in £500 and the fund will match it with a grant of £500.
Most people like to take the maximum amount available and get £1,500 worth of training/development for an investment of £500 – your business pays £500 and the fund pays £1,000.
This can be used for in-house management training or management coaching.
It’s up to you!
But you don’t have to match anything. You can have £500 and attend one of our 1 day open workshops!
